Also any sort of success.
If you’re chronically ill or have family problems, you must have done something to deserve it, because god will reward the worthy. Makes it really easy to be bigoted.

Seriously, when I first heard of this guy, I thought he must be smart. Then he started talking about things in my career field, and thought wow, that’s a stupid thing to say. The more he talked, the more I realised he’s a moron about nearly everything. Now I’m not convinced he can actually get dressed unassisted.

There was a lot of legal talk leading up to the last election about that, along with plenty of surprise that was the case. It turns out it was another of those gentlemen’s agreements that was never codified because up until very recently, most people just assumed voters were smart enough not to elect someone like that, so codifying it wasn’t worth anyone’s time.

They all have extremely well-stocked doomsday bunkers the size of small towns with a host of servants to keep them fat and happy, and they’re now trying to juice us for all we’re worth before we die.
Some of them are dominionists, too, and are either convinced Jesus is coming back any day now or are determined to kick off WW3 like it will be a signal flare. They’re desperate for the rapture, and they’re more than willing to kill us all to get it.
The really dangerous ones are a mix of both, and now they’re fully in charge.
Next up: Congress and/or the Supreme Court overturns the Freedom of Information Act on the grounds it compromises national security and hurts their feelings.
According to the popular vote, yes. But the popular vote hasn’t mattered for many, many years. Of the many things Trump has shone a spotlight on, this has been the most blatant.
e: It only sways the results if enough members of the EC are more afraid of the populace than the party leadership.
